What Personal Information Do We Gather?

MataPanda does not collect or store any personal data from users on our servers. We have no accounts, no sign-up and no cloud storage.

But, because of this application is using Admob as part of the ads service. AdMob is a mobile application advertising platform created by Google. Therefore Admob maybe will store user data for the use of personal advertisement. click here to read Google privacy policy.

Advertising ID

To show ads, the Google AdMob software included in this application may collect your device's advertising ID, together with basic device and usage information, and use it to select and measure personalised advertisements. The advertising ID is a resettable identifier provided by your device, and it is not linked to your name or account.

MataPanda does not receive, store or have access to this information. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time from your device settings, under Settings > Google > Ads. Click here to read the Google privacy policy.

Microphone and Voice Recognition

This application asks permission to use your device's microphone for one purpose only : to hear the spoken commands that control your workout, such as the number of reps, the counting speed, the rest time and the number of sets.

Your voice is never recorded, saved or sent to MataPanda. The microphone is open only while you have switched listening on. It closes when you switch it off, or when you have finished and left your workout.

To understand what you say, the audio is passed to the speech recognition service built into your device, which is provided by Google. For some languages this service needs an internet connection, and the audio is sent to Google to be transcribed. Click here to read the Google privacy policy.

Microphone permission is optional. Every spoken command is also available as a button, so the application works normally if you choose not to grant it.

Your Workout Data

Your workouts, settings and history are stored only on your own device. They are not sent to MataPanda and they are not stored on any server. Uninstalling the application removes them. You can export a copy to your clipboard at any time from Settings, and clear your history from Settings or from the History screen.

Body Weight and Body Measurement Data

The application allows you to record and track your height, weight and other personal fitness metrics. All height, weight and other body measurement data entered into the app is saved exclusively on your local device for your personal tracking and reports. This information is not collected, transmitted, stored on external servers, or shared with MataPanda or any third parties. You can delete or clear your weight history directly within the application at any time.
